Apple Cider Hot Toddy

This Apple Cider Hot Toddy is a cozy and tasty way to warm up on cold nights or at holiday parties. When apple cider, bourbon, and spices are mixed together, they make a warm drink that is sure to please.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup apple cider

  • 1 ounce bourbon

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 slice of lemon

  • 1 slice of apple

  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon optional

  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg optional

Instructions:

Put the apple cider in a small saucepan and heat it over medium-low heat until it's hot but not boiling


Add the honey and bourbon and stir until the honey is mixed in


Put the mix into a glass or mug that can handle heat


Put a cinnamon stick, a lemon slice, and an apple slice on top


If you want to add more flavor, you can sprinkle ground cinnamon and nutmeg on top


Enjoy while hot!

Flourless Pumpkin Brownies

These delicious, Paleo-friendly pumpkin brownies are made without flour. They are the ideal fall dessert because they are moist, rich, and bursting with chocolate and pumpkin flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Paleo-friendly

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease an 8x8-inch 20x20 cm baking pan


In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, almond butter, honey, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt


Mix well until smooth and well combined


Add the baking soda to the mixture and mix again until fully incorporated


Fold in the dark chocolate chips into the batter


Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly


Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean


Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove them from the pan and let them cool completely on a wire rack


Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy your delicious flourless pumpkin brownies!

Perfect Soft-Boiled Eggs

This method will always give you soft-boiled eggs with a runny or slightly firmer yolk. You can eat these eggs for breakfast, brunch, or as a tasty salad topping.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs

  • Water

  • Ice

Instructions:

Bring water in a pot to a full boil


Use a slotted spoon to carefully put the eggs into the boiling water


Lower the heat to medium-high and boil the eggs for 6 minutes if you want the yolk to be runny and for 7 to 8 minutes if you want the yolk to be a little firmer


As the eggs boil, get a bowl of ice water ready


As soon as the eggs are done, put them right into the ice water bath to stop the cooking


Spend two to three minutes letting the eggs sit in the ice water


Tap the eggs gently on a hard surface to break the shells


Then, run water over them while you peel them to make it easier


You can serve the soft-boiled eggs with salt and pepper, or any other way you like
